Spring has sprung and right on cue, fashion month has arrived, bringing us plenty of inspiration from the spring/summer runways.
Between resetting our post-winter skin, mastering transitional dressing, and test-driving new beauty launches, the team has been busy filling their carts. I’ve had Onitsuka Tiger’s new Denivta range on my mind ever since our digital cover shoot with Sarah Ellen — the collection is full of perfectly worn-in pieces, including a slouchy top I’ll be wearing on every morning coffee run.
Meanwhile, Shopping Editor Rebecca is pulling inspiration from the New York Fashion Week runways, where silk and satin textures stole the show, while our new writer, Noni, found the ultimate transitional long-sleeve and a year-round holy-grail moisturiser.

Onitsuka Tiger, WS LS Top
A running theme for ELLE this month? Trying to find the perfect long-sleeve to welcome spring in. For me, the WS LS Top from Onitsuka’s new Denivita range fits the bill perfectly. The skater-influenced silhouette and eye-catching colourways have a nostalgic feel and remind me of my childhood growing up in Bondi during the 90s. And the cut hits the sweet spot between structured and slouchy, giving a thrown-together look that’s perfect over jeans, shorts or a slip dress as you saunter down to your local coffee spot on a Sunday.
EOS, Verena Boot
I have been procrastinating buying a new pair of black, knee-high boots for some time because, despite the heel on my old pair being basically worn into a nub, they’re generally a big investment. I was delighted to come across the Verena from footwear brand EOS. The style is super sleek, with a pointed toe (my preference) and an elegant silhouette (I find knee-high boots that are too wide on the calf can start looking like goloshes and throw the proportions of an outfit off). Super polished, they go with summery dresses and more wintery looks and look a lot more expensive than they are. I have my eye on the chocolate brown shade.
Rare Beauty, Brow Harmony Flexible Lifting Gel
I have thicker brows and often find tinted brow gels go “piecey” on me and end up smudging if I’m not super careful with application. I usually skip them in lieu of a brow pencil and a clear gel. I finally got around to trying the Rare Beauty tinted gel (the clear is one of my favourites), and I should have known better than to doubt Selena Gomez. This is a truly light tint that retains its gel qualities (rather than becoming a fibrous mess), giving brows the perfect dose of pigment while maintaining the same level of control as its clear counterpart. I also love that it’s a different colour so I can tell them apart in my makeup bag. Love!
Augustinus Bader, Restorative Cream
Is luxury beauty worth it? Not always, but Augustinus Bader products reliably charm me and their new night cream has genuinely blown me away. At 35 with a naturally dry complexion I gravitate towards products that claim to address signs of “stress and fatigue” like they have their own gravitational pull. Not all of them actually address those signs but I’m happy to report this one does. Packed with Bader’s signature TFC8 complex, Nordic rosehips, and peptides this rich buttery lotion left my skin visibly plumper, smoother and refreshed. Without makeup I had the coveted lit-from-within glow and I felt like sleepless nights didn’t show in my face as much as they usually do. It’s a splurge but if you want to streamline you routine – a skip serum when I use this – or have a very special event coming up, this is top of my list.

Baserange Long Sleeve
It’s getting warmer but not that warm, which means we’re entering the rather confusing, kind-of-hard-to-dress-for transitional season. These long sleeves from Baserange have held me in great stead for years – they’re excellent for layering.

My skin routine is, shall we say, minimalistic, which is why I’m happy to invest in good products. Ultraceuticals’ Ultra Moisturiser Cream is the perfect consistency (thick without being greasy), making it the perfect year-round moisturiser.

Reformation, Haley-Kate Top
We’re seeing satin finishes all over New York Fashion Week, and Reformation is one of the only brands doing (mostly) affordable, cool silk and satin clothing. This button-up just landed on The Iconic, and it surely won’t last long. It’s the perfect ‘cute top’ to pair with jeans or slip skirts as the seasons change.
UNIQLO C Sunglasses Wrap
There’s a real trend towards hyper-feminine babydoll tops and dresses paired with Cyberpunk-style wrap sunglasses. Kendall Jenner and Alexa Chung are just two women sporting the trend—and they both have a penchant for Thistles sunglasses. While every Thistles drop is selling out rapidly, I’m enjoying these affordable, contrast-lens wrap sunnies from Uniqlo or these from Vehla as alternatives.
