The ELLE Guide To London

You could easily spend a week getting lost in London’s rich culture, delectable food scene, and world-class shopping spots. But if you have only a few days in this sprawling city, here’s how to do it – and do it well. Navigate London like a local with ELLE’s ultimate insider travel guide below.

Stay: The London EDITION

Where better to rest and revive after a day tripping the sites than The London EDITION? British charm meets sleek sophistication in this buzzy Fitzrovia establishment. Its founder, Ian Schrager, was also the brains behind the iconic Studio 54, so every detail is dripping with old-school glamour.

The hardest decision you’ll make during your stay is whether to cosy up to the fire over a cocktail at the Punch Room, or whip up a martini with your in-room gin trolley. We call that a win-win.

Book your stay at The London EDITION here.

Dine: Jolene

Chances are you’ve scrolled past Jolene’s mouthwatering fare on social media. It champions regenerative farming and sustainability, and if you can’t score a table for lunch or dinner, a fresh flaky pastry and coffee makes for delicious breakfast fuel before a busy day of sightseeing.

See: Naomi: In Fashion at the V&A

Fashion and history collide at the Victoria and Albert Museum’s most hotly anticipated exhibit of the year. Naomi: In Fashion chronicles Naomi Campbell’s inimitable four-decade career from unknown 15-year-old to mononymous supermodel. You’ll easily spend a few hours in this impressive retrospective. Until April 6, 2025.

Chill: Aire Ancient Baths

Beneath the tumult of London’s streets is Aire Ancient Baths, a rustic haven inspired by ancient Roman, Greek and Ottoman bathing rituals. Lose yourself in one of its seven pool-sized baths, before indulging in the extensive list of restorative massages and treatments.

Eat: Sessions Arts Club

Blink and you’ll miss Sessions Arts Club’s unmarked door and discrete buzzer. But inside, there’s nothing unassuming about this light-filled former courthouse. Peeling wallpaper, candlelit tables and live music give the space a cosy, romantic vibe, but really, it’s all about the food. The menu, while short, is packed with seasonal produce prepared simply but to perfection.

Shop: Rellik

Rellik is a must-visit. The rare-designer vintage store in Notting Hill — on the iconic Golborne Road — has been servicing London’s It girls since 1999, from Kate Moss to Suki Waterhouse. And with an archive that dates back to the ’60s, there’s no shortage of hidden gems waiting to be found here.
