The mere act of watching an episode of Emily In Paris is enough to give anyone romantic whiplash, but for the cast who play the unlucky in love characters, their experience with boyfriends and girlfriends (and in one actor’s case, a husband) couldn’t be more different.
But what they all have in common is the fact that there’s not one love triangle (that we know of), nor an unrequited love situation comparable to what Emily Cooper and her Parisian pals have rather dramatically experienced onscreen. So with that said, we decided to take a closer look at the cast’s love lives.
All The Boyfriends & Girlfriends Of the Emily In Paris Cast
Lily Collins — Emily
Collins might come across as a little indecisive and confused while playing main character Emily, who is chased by both Gabriel and Alfie. But off-screen, she’s loved up with the one true love of her life: Charlie McDowell.
The actress and her director beau married in September 2021, with Collins donning a stunning custom Ralph Lauren design for the outdoor nuptials.
“I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife. On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other’s forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell,” she shared on Instagram at the time.
The pair first met on the set of McDowell’s film Gilded Range in 2019 and have been inseparable since. In 2020, they got engaged during a roadtrip in Mexico. Collins shared at the time: “I’ve been waiting my lifetime for you and I can’t wait to spend our lifetime together.”
McDowell also shared an announcement on his own page: “In a time of uncertainty and darkness you have illuminated my life. I will forever cherish my adventure with you.”
Lucas Bravo — Gabriel
Who could resist the soulful eyes of Gabriel, aka the Hot Chef from Emily In Paris. While on screen he’s been caught in a complicated love triangle with the feisty (and very stylish) Camille and Emily, off screen it appears actor Lucas Bravo is single.
The 36-year-old previously confirmed as much in a 2020 interview with Glamour, adding that his ideal relationship would involve a partner who was “cuddly, tender… just a sweet wake-up”. Since then, he’s given fans no indication that he has a significant other, although it’s clear that he’s happy to wait for The One.
Bravo elaborated In a 2020 interview with ELLE Australia: “I don’t have a type or anything… I like that ‘instant connection’. Sometimes, you just run into someone, you look at this person in the eyes, and in an instant, in a second, so much is said. Just feeling safe and feeling like there’s an old soul in front of me, and we’ve always known each other [like] in a past life or something… it’s something you cannot see, and that’s mostly what I’m looking for.”
Lucien Laviscount — Alfie
What’s it all about, Alfie? Specifically, are you, Lucien Laviscount, single? The 32-year-old Gemini hasn’t alluded to having a partner, although he’s been linked to a few famous faces over the years, including Shakira, Keke Palmer and f ellow famous Brit, Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson, with whom he was allegedly spotted snuggling up to during a night out in London.
Ashley Park — Mindy
If you follow her on social media, you’ll be more than aware that Ashley Park has a boyfriend—and it’s her Emily In Paris co-star, Paul Forman. Paul plays Nicolas, Mindy’s very wealthy love interest across seasons three and four. The two hit it off on set and started dating in real life. Since then, they’ve been around the world together, and Forman reportedly never left her side when she the actress and theatre performer nearly died from sepsis. Whether on a red carpet, or floating around fashion week, one thing is for sure: these two are cannot get enough of each other!
Camille Razat — Camille
Camille Razat is engaged to French photographer Etienne Baret. While the exact origins of their relationship are unknown, she first went Instagram official with Baret in 2017. In Decmeber 2021, the pair got engaged with Razat sharing the sweet surprise in a slow-motion video. “Blessed @etiennebaret Thank you to my amazing friend(s) I love you!” She wrote in the caption. While Camille doesn’t post much of their love life, a quick look at Etienne’s Instagram profile proves Razat is not only his ultimate partner but his frequent muse and collaborator.
Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu — Sylvie
Leroy-Beaulieu plays the self-assured, confident Sylvie in Emily In Paris, and in her case, art meets life. The 61-year-old French actor has been linked to several men over the years, including the father of her daughter Taïs, Richard Bean, per The New York Times. It’s unclear if the pair are still together, and Leroy-Beaulieu doesn’t discuss her love life publicly. The mystery remains.
Kate Walsh — Madeline
Yes, there are two weddings ahead for the Emily In Paris cast, with Walsh, who plays Emily’s boss Madeline, confirming in October 2022 that she was set to tie the knot with her West Australian partner, Andrew Nixon.
The actor accidentally let the news slip in an Instagram live featuring Nixon, who is an Aussie farmer according to Page Six. As Nixon came into the camera’s view, Walsh was heard saying, “Here comes the jungle cat, that is my fiance.”
She was quickly called out for revealing engagement, but ever the natural, Walsh then proudly flashed her engagement ring to viewers.
It’s been reported that the pair met on a cruise shortly before the Covid-19 pandemic, and they hunkered down together in Perth for the lockdown period. While she now travels between the USA and Perth for work, it looks like Walsh couldn’t be happier with her husband-to-be.
