When (And Where) ‘You Can See Everything’ Is Coming Out In Australia

Prepare to see everything. Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim’s A24 documentary about convicted fraudster Elizabeth Holmes, You Can See Everything, will hit cinemas on November 12, 2026 in Australia, providing scam-obsessed audiences with everything they’ve been waiting for.

In 2023, Fielder and Oppenheim were invited to move in with Holmes and her husband Billy Evans for the 34 days before her imprisonment to observe and document them as a last-ditch attempt to reveal her innocence — something she and Evans are emphatic about.

In 2003, Elizabeth Holmes, a then-19-year-old Stanford dropout, founded Theranos, building a Silicon Valley empire that hit a peak valuation of $9 billion. But shortly after becoming America’s youngest self-made billionaire, investigative probes shattered the illusion — exposing her revolutionary blood-testing technology as a scam and resulting in an 11-year federal prison sentence.

Holmes’ saga has already inspired bestsellers (Bad Blood) and hit dramas (The Dropout), but A24’s You Can See Everything takes a far more intimate turn, capturing her final weeks before reporting to prison.

Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming release.

When Is You Can See Everything Coming Out In Australia

Although A24’s provocative docu-film, You Can See Everything, landed in American theatres on October 16 2026, it’s not hitting Australian and New Zealand cinemas until November 12, 2026. Reviews of the film have been overwhelmingly positive — it enjoyed the biggest box office opening for a non-musical documentary since 2004, Metacritic gave it a Universal Acclaim score of 97 out of 100, and in its review, The Guardian called it “a stupefying and gloriously destabilising hall of psychological mirrors, a thrilling once-in-a-lifetime collision of director and subject.”

Can You Stream You Can See Everything?

You Can See Everything could make its cinema debut shortly after its exclusive cinema run. Variety reported in January that A24 had renewed its licensing deal with HBO Max, making the platform the film’s likely US streaming home. While A24 hasn’t officially confirmed that the deal extends to Australia, Apple TV has already set up a dedicated You Can See Everything page featuring both trailers, signalling the film will likely land on the platform following its Australian theatrical run.

What Is You Can See Everything About?

Set in their San Diego home, the documentary sees Nathan Fielder enter the world of Elizabeth Holmes and her husband Billy Evans. Appearing in front of the camera while his collaborater Lance Oppenheim direct from behind it, Fielder takes on the role of probing investigator. Throughout the film, he trails the couple, lobbing provacative questions with the aim of unravelling the central mystery: does Holmes genuinely believe she is innocent, or is this all just another performance?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the concept for the documentary was born when Holmes approached production company A24 to make a movie about her story, prompting the studio to tap Fielder and Oppenheim to helm it.

We’ve been teased with two trailers each more tense and jarring than the last. In the first teaser, Holmes and Fielder engage in a tense exchange in which she defends her transparency to the skeptical looking documentary maker. “Why would I deceive you? There’s no reason for me to do that,” she responds wide-eyed as Fielder attempts to level with her. We never thought excruciatingly awkward silences could be heart-poundingly thrilling, but here we are. The second trailer provided a more holistic and perhaps even spookier glimpse of the Holmes-Evans household. We see domestic scenes in the kitchen, their car and, most intimately, Fielder sitting in Holmes’s bed, all captured in Hitchcockian style. Fielder is unflinching in his questioning, Holmes is steely in her responses, and Evans, at times seems out of his depth. Though strictly a documentary, the trailer establishes a high-stakes psychological thriller sensibility that promises to be as twisty, confounding, and unbelievable as the story Holmes told her investors.

Did Nathan Fielder Live With Elizabeth Holmes?

As part of You Can See Everything’s raw depiction of Holmes, filmmakers Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim and their team moved into the guest cottage on Holmes’ and Evans’ San Diego property. They remained on site for 34 days while they filmed, documenting the family’s moves as they prepared for Holmes to leave her husband and two children to serve her prison sentence.
