Dior Unveils New Médaillon Collection By Jonathan Anderson

Dior has introduced Jonathan Anderson’s new Médaillon collection, drawing its name and inspiration from the house’s iconic Médaillon chair, a piece rooted in Louis XVI style and the refined spirit of 18th-century rococo craftsmanship. The motif has been a hallmark of the Dior Maison since December 1946, when it first appeared as a decorative element inside the brand’s original Paris boutique.

The new range brings this heritage detail into a fresh lineup that includes the Médaillon Flap bag, several wallets, a pouch and a contemporary bucket bag, all designed to blend polish with everyday usability. The Médaillon detailing also extends across footwear, belts, accessories and ready-to-wear, reworked not just as a decorative signature but as a functional touch, showing up in clasps, snap closures, zipper pulls and structural details throughout the pieces.

The Médaillon collection is available in Dior boutiques and online now.
