Tom Holland and Zendaya have reportedly gathered their nearest and dearest for a private wedding celebration in Surrey, UK, closing the loop on months of “did they, didn’t they” speculation. People reports the Spider-Man co-stars, recently crowned Hollywood’s most bankable couple after months of speculation.
The pair, who met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and confirmed their relationship in 2021, reportedly chose the Beaverbrook Hotel for their nuptials, not far from Holland’s hometown of Kingston. The 56-room property sits on 370 acres and comes with a backstory as dramatic as any red carpet moment: built in the late 1860s by businessman Abraham Dixon, it was bought in 1910 by newspaper baron Lord Beaverbrook, a friend of Winston Churchill’s who fitted the place out with a swimming pool, electricity and one of the UK’s first home cinemas. It’s since done time as a war bunker, hosted guests from Rudyard Kipling to Elizabeth Taylor, and served as Beaverbrook’s wife’s private residence until his death in 1964, before opening to the public in 2007 and being reborn as a luxury hotel a decade later.
A source told the publication “there was a very natural theme to the wedding.” Perhaps spiders.
Holland’s three brothers, Sam, Harry and Paddy, reportedly stood by in well-coordinated black tuxedos with wildflowers tucked into their buttonholes.
Zendaya first flashed a speculated engagement ring at the 2025 Golden Globes, an elongated east-west cushion-cut stone believed to be the work of London jeweller Jessica McCormack, and jewellery experts have spent the eighteen months since estimating its worth well into six figures.
Earlier this year, Zendaya was regularly spotted wearing a demure wedding band. Pair that with statements from Holland and friends of the couple, and it seemed we’d missed a major celebrity wedding. At the 2026 Actor Awards, Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach told Access Hollywood, “The wedding has already happened, you missed it,” and the Euphoria star appeared at the Oscars shortly after wearing what looked distinctly like a wedding band. In June, Holland told Esquire his family weren’t fooled by the AI-generated wedding photos doing the rounds, because “they were all there” for the real thing. Then, because subtlety was never really the assignment, he referred to Zendaya as “my wife” in an interview for The Odyssey.
Tom Holland and Zendaya have just wrapped their Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour and the success of the film, which has so far made a historic $US927 million ($1.32 billion AU) has made them the most bankable couple in Hollywood.
Turns out the whole thing was a very well-executed red herring. Hats off to them. So far, 2026 has been a blockbuster year for celebrity weddings with Dua Lipa marrying Callum Turner wearing Chanel Haute Couture in June and Taylor Swift marrying Travis Kelce in Jonathan Anderson’s Dior Haute Couture in July.
