Coatyarn srl, an Italian manufacturer of industrial coated yarns, launched Evolution Mask, a range of filter protection facemasks using innovative TPU Evolution polyurethane yarns. It is made of a combination with the high-performance bacteriostatic polyamide 6.6 by Fulgar.
For the characteristics of TPU Evolution, it has high breathability, absorbs, expels sweat and excess heat and also has a fantastic soft touch. The polymeric matrix with silver ions, the mask is permanently odour controlled.
It is three-dimensional mask produced on rectilinear knitting machines and consequently comfortable for its shapes and makes it adaptable to the face without contacting the mouth. It is also wire free and easily adjusted with the elastic behind the ears or behind the neck.
According to Coatyarrn “Evolution Mask is reusable and guaranteed to withstand over 100 machine washes at 60 ° C even with bleach, keeping its antibacterial, dimensional and colour characteristics unchanged. The absence of migration of silver fillers from the thread to the skin avoids the onset of ‘Non Leaching Technology’ allergies”.
