THE RUNDOWN
- Australian musician Georgia Flipo, better known as G Flip, 33, has split from her partner of four years, Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, 45.
- The pair began dating around May, 2022 and married in a Las Vegas ceremony a year later, in May, 2023.
- Stause announced the news in a tearful Instagram video, implying that Flipo had ended the relationship but saying they had agreed to separate with “love and respect.”
Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause and Australian musician G Flip have confirmed their separation after more than four years together. Stause broke the news to fans in an emotional Instagram video on Tuesday, revealing she felt like a “failure” and implying that G Flip initiated the end of the relationship.
In her video, the 45-year-old real estate agent and reality TV star admitted she was still processing the breakup. “G and I are no longer together, and we have agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other,” Stause said. “That’s not hard for me because I’m in love with this person.”
The pair met in 2021 at a Halloween party and began dating around May, 2022. In May of 2023, they married in a Las Vegas wedding a year after getting together, and have since renewed their vows with a wedding each year they have been together. Stause seemed to imply she was surprised by the split. She told followers she did not “have all the information and the reasons” for the split, but added, “I’m sure, like always, with time, you get the lessons you’re meant to get.”

Fans might be surprised by the news. Just three weeks ago, Stause posted lovingly to Instagram celebrating G Flip’s performance with Kylie Minogue at the AFL Grand Final. And, in July this year, G Flip posted to Instagram for Stause’s birthday, writing: Happy birthday to my gorgeous girl
We have been on so many adventures together — laughing, crying, smiling, dancing & singing and I wouldn’t choose anyone else to do it with.
Me & peace love and adore you
”
Stause, who was previously married to actor Justin Hartley who she split with 2019, expressed her heartbreak candidly. “I just have to heal and figure this out. It’s hard, it’s painful,” she shared. “I’m a lover girl — I swing big, I miss.”
G Flip’s Response

G Flip posted to Instagram shortly after Stause’s announcement, confirming the news in a Notes app post: “After 4+ years Chrishell and I are no longer together. I will always love her, we will always share a special connection and I cherish our memories together deeply.”
The artist refrained from sharing further details noting: “My head and my heart are feeling very heavy right now and I’m not able to talk but I want to thank you all for your support and appreciate you respecting our privacy at this difficult time.”
Why Did G Flip And Chrishell Stause Break Up?
G Flip and Stause had a very public romance. In 2022 Stause told Vogue, “I feel like we really met for a reason… There’s just so much love and support there.” She continued, saying being with G Flip is “such a mood-lifting experience; if you ever had the pleasure of being in the same room with them, you would quickly see what I mean.”

A year after the pair married, G Flip spoke to People, reflecting on their first year of wedded bliss. They told the publication, “We adore each other and we’re having so much fun and we’re excited for our future and we’re so cute together,” adding, “We were always very solid and I’m just very lucky and so fortunate to have her as my person and my partner.” Just last year the pair openly discussed the strain of undergoing IVF treatments, with Stause referring to it as a “hell train” on Instagram and saying it would be her “last attempt.” Speaking to People in September, G Flip said, “We’re experiencing the real kind of sad and dark periods of this moment, where it’s like, a little bit of good news, a lot of bad news, a little bit of hope, no hope.” They continued, “In the end, you’ve got to lean on each other and be there for each other, and come out of it still a unit and try not to let it break the relationship or break people individually.”
Were G Flip And Chrishell Stause Married?
Despite tying the knot in a low-key Las Vegas wedding in 2023, Chrishell Stause and G Flip never legally formalised their nuptials. Speaking to People shortly after the wedding, Stause said the affair consisted of “a very small group there with us and some friends and family watching on a live stream.” Since their symbolic ceremony, Stause and G Flip have renewed their vows each year with a wedding ceremony, the first taking place in 2024 in Australia on Stause’s 43rd birthday. The couple’s 2025 renewal was medieval-themed, held in a Los Angeles castle in July.
