Carmine Romano

A stolen kiss on the streets of Naples. Photographer Carmine Romano crystallises scenes of everyday life in his beloved hometown. Naples is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for him, and the main subject of his photographic research. With his unmistakable mix of reportage and fashion photography, Romano collects fragments of the fantasy world in which he’d like to live—a new reality in which people can feel free to express themselves.

Marzio Emilio Villa is a Black-indigenous artist born in Brazil and currently based in Milan, whose research focuses on social inequality. The photo was taken in 2020 while reporting for the journal Sali e Tabacchi.
