The GMT watch is the ultimate travel accessory, offering the ability to keep track of multiple time zones. For the first time ever, Swiss watch brand Mido is collaborating with Hodinkee on a limited edition Ocean Star GMT. How limited? Only 999 wrists will to wear this watch (given you don’t share it with anyone else). The Ocean Star GMT gets design cues from the vintage Mido Multi-Centerchrono. This watch has a modest 40.5 millimeter size with an eye-catching red GMT hand. Even if you’re not jet-setting around the world very often, the Ocean Star makes a great everyday timepiece, and because it comes with three straps—a steel mesh bracelet, a brown leather strap, and a two-piece nylon strap—it’s like three watches in one depending on the vibe you’re going for.
